10U Squirts

 

Overview

We introduce full ice hockey with all the game details at the Squirt division. Players start to learn real hockey game rules, positions, game plans, patterns and such. This is not at the expense of progressing with the individual skills development which still is our main goal at the Squirt age. Young players can take an almost unlimited amount of learning at this age, and their progress is vast. We answer this with experienced coaching staff and thorough practice and game planning.

 

We have 2 teams at the Squirt level - both teams will play travel league games in the Hudson Valley Hockey League vs other NY/NJ based travel teams. 

Tryouts are required in order to join our Squirt teams. 

Birth year: 2015-2016

 

Season: Early September thru Mid March 

Practices: Approximately 40 Practices (times subject to change)

o Sunday Afternoon @ Ice House 2:45 - 4:00pm

o Wednesday @ Aviator 6:30 - 7:30pm (Brooklyn Families)

Games: Approx 15 games (plus playoffs if applicable) on Sundays or Saturday evenings
